Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval.
Faith is expressed by trusting God for things that have not yet come to pass; when we risk doing something to serve the Lord we believe is beyond our ability; when we give money we don’t think we have; when we invest time serving God even when our calendar says we are booked solid, and so on. And sometimes we are able to see the Lord showing up in tangible ways, validating the faith we’ve placed in him. Which grows our faith even more. Which gives us courage to trust the Lord for even greater things!
Where in your life are you being challenged to live in faith? To trust the Lord for what you cannot see?
Lord Jesus give us the conviction of things we cannot yet see. And as we do, may it be pleasing to you. Amen.
Fuel for the journey 
When do I see this happening? Everyday. I go about my business praying that the time and effort spent is pleasing to God. I know it is. I could say no to some things but I do them anyway and know it is right and will pay off later. That is faith for things unseen.
