Colossians 3:12 As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

I like the imagery here of “clothing” oneself. The idea is that instead of seeing your hair, eyes, clothing, or whatever, a person sees your character – compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and so on. Makes me wonder what people see when they see me.
